Betty Culley is the award-winning author of young adult and middle grade novels. Her YA verse novels are Three Things I Know Are True (Top Ten Indie Next Kids' List) and The Name She Gave Me (Golden Kite Finalist). Her middle grade novels are Down to Earth (Junior Library Guild Selection) and The Natural Genius of Ants (Green Earth Book Award Long List). She’s worked as a pediatric nurse and lives in a small town in central Maine.
